Railings, fences, metal frames, gates — all steel structures have a common enemy: rust.
Why does steel rust?
The oxidation of steel is a natural chemical reaction between iron, water, and oxygen. It is unavoidable without adequate protection.
Different protection methods
Ordinary paint: provides mechanical protection but does not prevent rust if the surface is scratched.
Anti-rust primer: slows down corrosion but does not stop it permanently.
GALVACYL® cold galvanization: the zinc sacrifices itself in place of the steel — even if the surface is scratched, the area remains protected. Applicable in 15 to 30 minutes with a brush or low-pressure spray gun.
On which surfaces can GALVACYL® be used?
- Gates and wickets
- Railings and stair rails
- Metal frames
- Industrial structures
- Steel sheets and profiles
- Metal garden furniture
How to apply it correctly?
1. Clean the surface with a wire brush and a degreaser
2. Apply with a brush, roller, or low-pressure spray gun.
3. Drying in 15 to 30 minutes
4. One coat is sufficient, but two coats are recommended for highly exposed areas
